Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

The short version: Residly does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking. Your travel history stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Residly has no user accounts, no login, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not operate servers that receive your personal data, and we never sell or share it — because we never have it.

Your data lives on your device

The days you record, your trips, and the trackers you configure are stored locally on your device by the app. You can delete all of it at any time from Settings.

Location

Location access is optional. If you enable it, Residly uses your location on the device only to suggest which country you were in on a given day. You confirm or override every suggestion. Your location is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

iCloud backup & sync

If you enable iCloud, your Residly data is backed up to and synced through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This stays within Apple's infrastructure under your Apple ID and Apple's privacy policy. We cannot access it.

Purchases

Residly Pro is sold through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your card or payment details. Apple provides the app with your subscription status so it can unlock Pro features on your devices.

Children

Residly is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
